October on the Wharf

This October some great things are happening down here at Made in Santa Cruz.

On October 9th & 10th the Santa Cruz Boardwalk will be hosting the 13th Annual Hot Rods on the Beach Car Show. This event is to benefit the Santa Cruz Police Officers' Association. There is no better way to check out cool cars and benefit others.
On October 23rd the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is hosting it's first ever Annual Chili Cook-Off. Featuring the best amateur and professional chili's in the area, this even starts at 10AM and goes until the winners are announced at 4PM.

On October 31st the Santa Cruz Wharf hosts the Annual Halloween on the Wharf. This is a great event for kids who want candy, and parents who want a safe friendly trick-or-treat experience (not to mention the great shopping). So whether you are 5 or 50, grab your candy bag and come on down to the Santa Cruz Wharf.

So come on down, enjoy some great events and don't forget to drop in and say hi!

Boardwalk Free Summer Entertainment

Come on down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk this Friday, July 23, to check out "Ides of March" performing live for FREE! With it's signature horn riff, The Ides of March's "Vehicle" burst onto the Billboard charts and in 1970 became the fastest breaking single in Warner Bros. history! The show will consist of hits from The Ides of March as well as Jim Peterik's Top 40 songs such as "Eye of the Tiger", "The Search is Over", "Hold on Loosely" & "Fantasy Girl".


Circo Brazil is an action-packed 30-minute show featuring trampoline, tightrope, and hand balancing acrobatics, Capoeira, and freestyle soccer tricks. And don't miss the unbelievable fire limbo under a fiery bar less than a foot off the ground! It's a must see! While out and about, come down to Made In Santa Cruz and take advantage of our store-wide sale!

16th Annual Woodies on the Wharf

Who doesn't love woodies? Old fashioned car bodies, polished wood, chrome, and a fresh coat of paint. Woodies first gained popularity in Santa Cruz when surfers and college students alike realized that woodies were cheap, spacious, and could be easily adapted to carry surfboards. Since then woodies have been a surf icon. Fast forward 50 years later and you have a gathering every year of refurbished woodies coming from Santa Cruz, Arizona, Colorado, and even Canada. Woodies on the Wharf started in 1995 and has been occurring ever since. On the third Saturday of every June the end of the wharf is blocked off to traffic and over 200 woodies are put on display to be admired and photographed. The event ends with a parade of all 200 woodies driving around Santa Cruz to say goodbye to everyone. Every year Made in Santa Cruz has the widest selection of woodie memorabilia on the wharf that we love to share with all of the woodie-enthusiasts. Come over to Santa Cruz on June 26th from 10AM-4PM for a real treat-- free valet bike parking included.

Father's Day is Fast Approaching

Father's Day is an annual holiday observed by more than 55 countries across the globe. It occurs on the third Sunday of June which means this year it's on the 20th. This Father's Day, give your dad something he'll love forever. Perhaps a Santa Cruz themed coffee mug with which he can enjoy his morning cup of coffee.
